城間ご夫妻が長年培ってこられた地を譲り受け

新たな藍の風が吹きはじめました

藍を育て染料の素となる泥藍を製造し天然発酵建てで丁寧に染めています

カフェ＆ショップも併設しています

【Indigo dyeing workshop】

We can start a program on weekdays. (Not available during weekends & Japanese holidays)

Please let us know how many people would like to participate, and desired date, and a program you'd like to do.

We offer following three programs:

1) Scarf dyeing program (6000 yen  incl. tax)

Required time: 1.5 hour       Cost of material is included.

2)Eco bag program (3500yen   incl.tax)

Required time: 1 hour         Cost of material is included.

3) Easy dyeing program (3000 yen incl. tax)

Required time: 1 hour

You can select a material to dye. We provide tenugui (traditional Japanese cloth) or handkerchief. Cost of material is included.

Google map currently provides wrong navigation to Aikaze, that leads to a wrong road.If you are coming from Nago on Route 84, turn right onto Route 123 at "Izumi" intersection, and turn left onto a narrow road (there is a blue square sign that says "indigo & cafe").Keep going for about 1 km. When you see a larger blue sign, drive up the steep hill. There are parking spaces on the right side.
